Summary

What we collect

CategoryDetails
Random install keyA random code generated by the App the first time it runs. It is not derived from your device, your accounts or any identifier, and it is only used to group the statistics of one installation.
Gameplay statisticsLevels started, cleared or abandoned (and why: restart, map, menu, quit), time spent, deaths and the area of the screen where they happened, which enemy group or boss caused damage, damage dealt by each weapon, use of the overdrive, statistics of enemy waves, weapons and ships equipped, player level, in-game coins earned and in-game purchases made with in-game coins (no real money), Infinity mode runs.
Technical dataDevice model, operating system version, screen size and refresh rate, graphics chip name, amount of memory, number of processor cores, system language, game version, frame rate (FPS) while playing, and error messages of the App (with a short technical trace) to find bugs.
Network dataLike any internet connection, our server and our network provider receive your IP address when the App sends statistics. We do not store IP addresses in our database.

What we do not collect

Why we use it

Online rankings and achievements (optional)

The rankings are off until you join them from the Rankings button. Joining is separate from the anonymous game data switch: you can use either one without the other. Before you join, scores stay on your device and are only published if you say so when you join.

WhatDetails
Nickname (public)A name you type or generate at random (3–16 characters), shown with a random tag such as #A7K2. It is checked against lists of offensive words. We keep the previous nicknames of a profile to moderate abuse. You can change it once every 7 days.
Country (public, optional)Only if you pick one from the list; "Prefer not to say" is the default. It is never taken from GPS or from your connection.
Scores (public)The summary of each run that enters a ranking: Infinity cycle, time, enemies destroyed, ship, level times and deaths, weekly challenge, and the game version and platform. Other players see your nickname, tag, country and scores.
AchievementsUnlocked achievements and when. Other players only see what percentage of players has each one, not who.
Profile data (not public)The random install key of the device that created the profile, a code (player token) that the App keeps to identify your profile, and a recovery code to move the profile to another device. We only store scrambled versions (hashes) of the token and the recovery code. We also keep the reports that players send about nicknames.

Where it is stored and for how long

The statistics are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a server operated by us in Chile. Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our network and security provider to deliver that connection. The data is kept for a maximum of 12 months and then deleted automatically.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share this information with third parties, apart from the network provider mentioned above, which only transports it.

Your choices and rights

Data stored on your device

The App saves your game progress (levels, ships and weapons unlocked, settings), the random key, your achievements and lifetime statistics and, while there is no connection, the statistics and scores waiting to be sent, in the App's private storage. If you join the rankings, it also saves your nickname, player token and recovery code. This stays on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App or clear its data (keep your recovery code if you want to keep your rankings profile).

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. It does not ask anyone for personal data, and the statistics it sends are anonymous. Nicknames in the rankings are public and the App asks players not to use their real name. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete the statistics of a device by writing to the email above with the key shown in the main menu.

Security

The statistics and scores travel encrypted, our server only accepts data signed by the App, changes to a rankings profile require its player token, and access to the stored data is restricted to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.

Qué no recogemos
